Welcome Message ......
The Rowlett Fire Rescue Department is a dynamic organization that is dedicated to providing excellent service to the citizens on a daily basis. We are focused on placing our citizens and visitors first. The Department has a long tradition of providing high quality and cost-effective fire prevention/protection and advanced emergency medical services to the City of Rowlett. These services are provided by a full-time staff of fire and emergency medical professionals. The Fire Marshal’s Office provides fire education classes, home and business inspections and performs fire and arson investigations. A nationally recognized volunteer program staffed by your neighbors provides additional assistance through the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), the Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES), and the Rowlett Citizen Fire Corps. All work together with one goal to make your City a safer place to live and work.
Our Fire Prevention Education program is one of the foremost in the area which focuses on the young children of the community. We have built an Emergency Medical Service to a premiere level. Our pre-hospital care is recognized as one of the best in the North Texas area. Our personnel continue to develop different programs that add to the safety and well being of the citizens. Our focus is on citizen centered service and we continue to proactively engage the citizens of Rowlett with a wide range of services that reaches all of our diverse community. The four Rowlett Fire Stations are truly neighborhood resource centers where you can receive medical help, obtain information about city services, get assistance with a neighborhood problem or schedule the use of the station for a meeting of your Home Owner’s Association. The firefighters of this department are truly dedicated to the welfare of our citizens.
We have a professionally staffed and well-equipped department that provides a wide range of services and programs that not only respond to emergencies but also proactively engages the community. Community involvement reaches all of the diverse groups within the City, especially the young and the elderly, those most vulnerable to fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) emergencies.
