Overview
The City of Rowlett has partnered with Garland Area Habitat for Humanity in order to assist low-income Rowlett Homeowners with necessary repairs.  The Homeowner Rehabilitation Program is intended to help low-income homeowners make necessary repairs and ensure compliance with health and safety codes. Eligible families may receive up to $24,999 in assistance in the form of a two year forgivable loan. Grants may be awarded for projects under $2,000.00.

It should be noted that this is not a home renovation program. Repairs that are considered solely aesthetic in nature will not be considered eligible.

The Fast Facts Sheet provides a summary of the program.
