Rowlett's Family Halloween Campout click here!
Location: Pecan Grove Park (5300 Main Street-Behind the Rowlett Community Centre)
Date: Friday, October 28th (5:00pm) until Saturday, October 29th (9:00am)
Fee: $65 per campsite if registered by October 6th; $75 per campsite if registered between October 7th & October 21st (Registration deadline).
Pack up your family, tent and sleeping bags end embark on an adventure at Camp Fear, Rowlett's Family Halloween Campout held at Pecan Grove Park! Participate in a number of family activities including games, a haunted hayride, tent trick or treating, s'mores, and and contests.
What to bring:
- Plenty of scary decorations for your chance to win the "Best Tent Decorating Competition"!
- Candy for "Tent trick or Treating"
- Mini pumpkin (1-3 lbs) for your chance to win the "Punkin' Chunkin' Contest" (Mini pumpkins can be purchased at Covington's Nursery for approximately $2. Covington's is located at 5518 President George Bush Hwy, Rowlett, TX 75088) Limit (1) pumpkin "chunk" per person. This contest is optional and there will be separate age groups.
- Cell phones or cameras so that you can participate in the Social Media Contest for a chance to win a gift card from a local Rowlett business.
Other Suggested supplies:
Tents, bug spray, sleeping bags, air mattress, pillows, warm blankets, flashlights, battery operated lanterns, camping chairs, change of clothes, snacks, water bottles, marshmallow skewers, costumes and hand warmers.
*Dinner and breakfast will be provided!
*The entertainment for this event is designed for participants ages 10 and up. Children younger than 10 are permitted with their parent's consent.

Veterans Day Ceremony
Date: Friday, November 11th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
Location: Rowlett Community Centre (5300 Main Street)
Join us at the Rowlett Community Centre as we recognize and honor our local veterans. Veterans Day is a time when the community gathers together to give thanks to those who have dedicated and served their country.
Please gather with your community at the Rowlett Community Centre to show your support and appreciation to those who have made the sacrifices for our freedom.
In the case of inclement weather, the Veterans Day Ceremony will be moved inside the Rowlett Community Centre.
Main Street Festival and Holiday Parade

December 3rd - 3:00pm-7:00pm
Come out and join your friends and neighbors for a night full of fun that will feature the holiday parade followed by the tree lighting ceremony! Kick off the holiday season with a night full of live music from carolers as well as the Lakeshore Symphonic Winds and a host of exciting activities including photos with Santa at the Coyle House, children’s activities, arts/craft vendors, a spectacularly light trail, the holiday parade, and, for the first time... the trail of trees!
3:00pm: 30th Annual Holiday Parade (Rowlett Exchange Club)*
4:00pm - 6:20pm Performances from carolers and the Lakeshore Symphonic Winds
6:20pm: Tree Lighting
Parking: Parking will be available at Rowlett High School. Please be advised parking will not open until the parade is finished and cannot be accessed until that time.
