Summer Reading Club 2019

Register for Summer Reading Club online beginning May 25! Logs will be available for pickup at the Library beginning Monday, June 3. Summer Reading will kickoff Monday, June 3 with a party at the Library at 2:00 pm.


Summer Reading for Babies (0-3 years)

Summer Reading at Rowlett Public Library offers something for even the youngest readers. Kids 0-3 years old can pick up an early literacy reading log at the Library. After completing 10 early literacy activities on the log kids can return their log once in June and once in July to pick up their free book.


Summer Reading for Kids (4-12 years)

Each week that kids read and record 3 hours of reading, they may turn in their log at the Library to win a prize. Prizes change weekly and are subject to availability.


Summer Reading for Teens (13-18 years)

Teens must read and record 5 hours a week on their reading logs to earn their weekly prize. Prizes change weekly and are subject to availability.

Space girl_1-Teen

Summer Reading for Adults (18 & up)

Adults earn one entry into the Summer Reading prize drawing for each book they complete during the summer. One winner will be chosen weekly throughout the summer.
