Application Process

All applications are required to be submitted at web.mygov.us

Prior to formally submitting through our MyGov portal, please ensure that all exhibits and items in the appropriate applications below are included.

Upcoming Submittal Dates

The City of Rowlett Community Development Department will now only accept applications for plats, plan submittals, and resubmittals by 3:00 PM on the days specified in the table below. All plans are subject to a 30-day review timeline.

Pre-Application Meeting

Before submitting to the Planning and Urban Design Division, please schedule a Pre-Application Meeting by submitting the Pre-Application Meeting Request Form to planning@rowlett.com. Due to the high number of requests, Pre-Application Meetings will not be scheduled until all items are provided. These include: 

  • Project Narrative
  • Conceptual Site Plan
  • List of Questions

Application Checklists

These checklists are to be used by the applicant to create the plan(s), plat(s), and/or exhibit(s) that are required with an application. The completed applicable checklist(s) are also required to be submitted with the application.
