Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Permits

Please submit your Sprinkler, Fire Pump, and Fire Alarm plans to our third-party plan review company - Traditions Fire Consulting. Contact information:

Once the plans are reviewed, a non-permitted draft set will be transmitted to the applicant. The Fire Marshal city approved set and a permit will electronically follow upon receipt of fees. This invoice procedure usually takes 1-3 days from the time Traditions transmits the draft plans.  

Note: All new installations of fire suppression systems that utilize the city's potable water supply shall have an approved reduced pressure detector assembly (RPDA) installed. 

Chemical Fire Protection Systems 

All plans are to be submitted electronically to the fire department for review. A device layout, system specifications, and State of Texas Department of Insurance registration and license are to accompany the submittal. Oversized and specialty systems may require third-party review. Submit electronic submission below or here.
