The Fire Marshal city approved set and a permit will electronically follow upon receipt of fees. This invoice procedure usually takes 1-3 days from the time Traditions transmits the draft plans.
All plans are to be submitted electronically to the fire department for review. A device layout, system specifications, and State of Texas Department of Insurance registration and license are to accompany the submittal. The fire code requires a certain business that uses hazardous materials or processes to hold operational permits. Most operational permits are issued during the Certificate of Occupancy process of a business. Unless there are substantive changes, there is no renewal required.
