Traditions Fire Consulting, 972-979-0631, or by e-mail performs most of our plan reviews. Submit application and electronic plans directly to our MYGOV account. Once the plans are reviewed, a non-permitteddraft set will be transmitted to the applicant. The Fire Marshal city approved set and a permit will electronically follow upon receipt of fees. This invoice procedure usually takes 1-3 days from the time Traditions transmits the draft plans through MYGOV.
Note: All new installations of fire suppression systems that utilize the city’s potable water supply shall have an approved reduced pressure detector assembly (RPDA) installed.

All plans are to be submitted electronically to the fire department for review. A device layout, system specifications, and State of Texas Department of Insurance registration and license are to accompany the submittal.
