Senior Book Club

1st Wednesday of the month, 1 pm at the Rowlett Community Centre, 5300 Main Street

Knitting Club

3rd Tuesday of the month, 7 pm 

The Knitting Club meets at 7 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the library. Knitters of all experience levels are welcome. If you are new to knitting, we have experienced knitters who can get you started. Already a knitter? Bring your current project and enjoy the company and conversation of others who share your interest.

GED Tutoring

All GED classes meet at Rowlett Public Library.                                                                                                          

Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm
Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30 am

Free tutoring is available for people who want help preparing for the GED test. Registration is required, so please call the library at 972-412-6161 or speak to a member of staff at the Service Desk. If you're interested in becoming a tutor, please contact the library or fill out our online volunteer form.

English as a Second Language Classes
