The Library is now operating under normal hours of Monday - Thursday from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm and Friday – Saturday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Other restrictions remain in place at the Library. Patron capacity is 75 people. Face masks are required for visitors 3 and older. Limited seating is available. We have not yet returned to our regularly scheduled in-person programs. Storytime continues with Ms. Lauren Tuesday mornings at 10 am on the Library’s Facebook page and each week kids can pick up STEM activities and craft kits to work on at home.
You can request items by logging into your account on the Library catalog and placing a hold request for items to check out. We’ll contact you when your items are ready to be picked up. Let us know when you arrive at the Library (or call before you leave) and staff will bring your materials out to you.
If you have a question, Ask a Librarian. Library staff is here to help. A Rowlett Public Library card provides access to over 50 TexShare databases. And even when our doors are closed, you can join our Online Book Club.
Any person needing an accommodation for a disability in order to access the benefits of the Library’s services, programs, or activities under the Americans with Disabilities Act should contact a Library manager by telephone at (972) 412-6161, by email at email@example.com or in writing, not less than five (5) working days prior to the program.
