The Library will close temporarily on Friday, December 3, from 11a to 1p.
Due to an overwhelming response, sign-up for the Winter Activity Boxes is now closed. Those who secured a spot will be able to pick them up from December 6-18. Those on the waiting list will be contacted via email if there are boxes remaining.
Hours of Operation and Current Restrictions
The Library is now operating under normal hours of Monday - Thursday from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm and Friday – Saturday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Most programs have returned to being in person, though some have attendance limits. Due to the ongoing health situation, programs may be modified or cancelled if necessary.
You can request items by logging into your account on the Library catalog and placing a hold request for items to check out. We’ll contact you when your items are ready to be picked up. Let us know when you arrive at the Library (or call before you leave) and staff will bring your materials out to you.
If you have a question, Ask a Librarian. Library staff is here to help. A Rowlett Public Library card provides access to over 50 TexShare databases. And even when our doors are closed, you can join our Online Book Club.
Any person needing an accommodation for a disability in order to access the benefits of the Library’s services, programs, or activities under the Americans with Disabilities Act should contact a Library manager by telephone at (972) 412-6161, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or in writing, not less than five (5) working days prior to the program.
