FCC Bulk Update

FCC truck, person loading trash into it

FCC Bulk Pickup Update
Normal seasonal increases combined with the significant debris generated as a result of February’s severe weather event has created long lines at landfills region-wide, which translates into less bulk pick up routes FCC can complete in one day. To address this issue, FCC has added additional crews and equipment and will be operating on Saturdays through at least the end of April.

✅  Please place brush and bulky waste in front of your house, between the curb and sidewalk (do not block water meters, fire hydrants, sidewalks, driveways or roadways).
✅  Please do not place bagged material with your bulk, these will not be collected with bulk set out because the pickup "claw" on the boom truck will tear the bags. Place them in your trash polycart.
✅  Please don’t park in front of your bulk set out (or your neighbors) – this blocks access for the boom trucks and they will be unable to pick up your items.
✅ Visit https://www.ci.rowlett.tx.us/914/Brush-and-Bulk-Collection for more bulk pickup information, including acceptable materials.

We will continue to communicate any updates to the schedule and operations. Please call the City’s Action Center at 972-412-6100 with any questions or concerns. We appreciate your patience and apologize in advance for any inconvenience you may experience!
