I-635 between Galloway Ave and Oates Dr Closed Saturday evening

Traffic Alert This Weekend!!  

All lanes of I-635 between Galloway Avenue and Oates Drive will be closed this Saturday evening, March 27 beginning at 8 p.m. through noon on Sunday. These closures are needed to facilitate a partial bridge demo at the Galloway Avenue bridge over I-635. Also closed will be the Galloway Avenue and Oates Drive overpass bridges (7 p.m. closures), as well as the eastbound I-30 direct connector to northbound I-635 (8 p.m. closure).

Garland Health Department Vaccine Clinic Update

This week, Garland Health hosted another vaccine mega-site at HBJ Stadium. Rowlett Public Works, PD, and FD provided assistance in managing the site. Over 2,000 first doses and 1,000 second doses were administered during the event.
