Just like small businesses, nonprofits are suffering the ongoing financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Rowlett Ready program of the Rowlett Community Organizations Active in Disaster (RCOAD) Board of Directors and the Rowlett City Council feel strongly that the Rowlett community needs our support as we all continue to navigate the consequences of this extraordinary health crisis. Responding to this need, the Rowlett Business Stimulus (ROBUST) grant was developed and rolled out in four rounds to provide short-term, immediate financial aid to small businesses who sustained economic losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
And now, to address the specific ongoing needs of our area nonprofits, the Round V ROBUST Grant application period has opened. The nonprofit grant has a maximum award total of $10,000 for economic losses based on losses from FY2020 donations, sales and events stemming from COVID-19 and its impacts. The application period runs now through July 22, 2021 at 11:59 a.m. Visit RowlettReady.com/ROBUST for more information and to apply!
