Rowlett's IT Department Recognized by CouncilPresented by Councilmember Brownie Sherrill, the City of Rowlett Information Technology Department was recognized by proclamation for National IT Professionals Day at last night's City Council Meeting. Rowlett’s IT staff is a group of dedicated technology experts including system administrators, network engineers, database administrators, information security professionals and IT support technicians who, though virtually invisible, touch all aspects of our organization. Without this fantastic group of individuals working collaboratively and keeping us all connected, we would not be able to conduct the business of the City and provide the services that are necessary for our citizens.
