The Rowlett Animal Shelter is still operating at Code Red! More dogs are coming in every few days. The Shelter has capacity for 24 dogs and is over that limit. If you or any of your friends or family have considered adopting - please drop by the shelter at 4402 Industrial Street from 10am to 5pm Monday through Saturday and take home your new special family member!

Veterans Day Ceremony - Thursday, November 11 from 11am to 12pm at Veterans Park (Ceremony will be moved inside to Rowlett Community Centre if the weather is bad)
Early Voting Starts Next Week for the November 2, 2021 Dallas County Constitutional Amendment General Election
There are eight State of Texas Propositions on the November 2 Constitutional Amendment and Joint Election. The early voting location for Rowlett is the Rowlett Annex Building, 4004 Main Street. Lake Highland Trail
North Rock Construction was able to pour 300 linear feet (LF) of footer for a section of retaining well and also an additional 120 LF of retaining wall. The handrails, bollards and mile-marker medallions have still not been delivered.
Faulkner-Thornhill-Powell Alley Reconstruction
KIK Underground finished preparing the remaining subgrade in the Jones/Colonial alley and constructed the forms for the pavement. The rain prevented them being able to pour any concrete.
