Yes, the City of Rowlett Code of Ordinances Chapter 6-4 (Running at Large) states,
"(a) It shall be unlawful for any owner of an animal (other than a cat), to cause, permit, suffer or allow the animal to run at large.
(b) Any animal control officer or police officer is authorized to impound such animals running at large, other than a cat, and may impound a cat upon receipt of a complaint that the cat causes a nuisance or hazard to the health or welfare of any person or animal."

Bring or mail a copy of your pet’s current Rabies Vaccination Certificate and appropriate fees to 4402 Industrial St. Rowlett, TX 75088. If you mail your certificate, we will return your tags by US Mail.
