Administers the City’s Personnel Policies to ensure compliance with Federal and State guidelines. Responsible for effective management of Human Resources Department operations, including employee compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, position management, employee/manager training and development, employee relations, Equal Opportunity and Treatment, standards of conduct, and performance management. Ensures Open Records Requests are addressed within strict timelines and in accordance with Privacy Act and HIPAA mandates. Serves as the City’s Risk Management Officer, responsible for on-the-job safety incident reporting and Worker’s Compensation claims. Operates as the City’s liaison with Citizens regarding claims of liability against the City.
